SEON is a fraud prevention and AML compliance platform serving thousands of companies globally, including Revolut, Wise, and Bilt. The company has achieved 95% fraud reduction and 32x ROI for customers and is growing rapidly.
You will own the competitive intelligence program end-to-end, defining strategy, gathering and synthesizing competitive intel, and activating insights across go-to-market and product teams. This is a strategic role that bridges sales, marketing, product, and customer success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and execute a comprehensive CI strategy monitoring competitive moves, pricing changes, product launches, partnerships, and market shifts in real time
- Conduct primary research (field interviews, deal-call participation) and secondary research (public filings, analyst reports, technical documentation, competitor websites) to build a robust competitive database
- Develop and maintain competitive enablement resources including battlecards, feature-comparison matrices, win/loss analysis summaries, and objection-handling plays
- Provide strategic support throughout the sales cycle, attending key prospect and customer calls to inject competitive perspective
- Feed field lessons back to marketing and sales enablement to inform messaging, campaigns, and positioning
- Own CI knowledge management: centralize, curate, and package competitive intel for different internal audiences
- Collaborate with product teams to translate competitive insights into roadmap guidance and differentiation strategy
- Evaluate competitor product architectures and translate technical findings into business-impact assessments
- Continuously optimize CI tools and workflows, leveraging AI capabilities for efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
- 5+ years of competitive intelligence or strategy experience in enterprise B2B SaaS
- Domain expertise in fraud prevention, AML/KYC compliance, cybersecurity, or related field
- Experience creating and managing a centralized CI knowledge base that scales across functions
- Hands-on experience creating battlecards, competitive playbooks, win/loss analyses, and supporting sales in live calls
- Strong technical aptitude enabling credible engagement with engineering teams, data scientists, and technical prospects
- Proven ability to turn raw data and competitor signals into actionable sales plays and positioning shifts
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable gathering data from varied sources and synthesizing into crisp insights
- Ability to turn competitive insights into actionable recommendations for product and GTM teams with measurable impact
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex competitive landscapes to diverse audiences
- Self-starter with strong cross-functional collaboration skills (sales, marketing, product, customer success)
- Familiarity with CI tools (e.g., Klue, Crayon) and market intelligence platforms
