Lab Operations is the operational backbone that lets science move quickly. As a Lab Operations Specialist at Lila Sciences, you'll own the equipment, spaces, materials, and logistics that keep the labs running and continuously improve them.
You'll manage multiple workstreams with limited oversight, including equipment lifecycle management (preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, asset tagging, CMMS tracking), equipment installs, setup, moves, relocations, and decommissions. You'll manage consumables, PPE, gases, dry ice, and cold-storage programs, coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse logistics, and partner with Design and Facilities teams on new lab spaces and layouts.
You'll manage vendor relationships, service scheduling, and the Lab Ops support-ticket queue. You'll respond to equipment and cold-storage alarms, support EH&S and Procurement on compliance needs, lead lab-efficiency improvements, mentor Lab Operations Associates, and onboard scientists to lab operations workflows.

The company combines advanced AI models with proprietary AI Science Factory instruments into an operating system for science that executes the entire scientific method autonomously, accelerating discovery across medicine, materials, and energy.
