Classiq Technologies is building a quantum computing platform that bridges hardware and real-world applications. The company enables developers and enterprises to design, optimize, and deploy quantum algorithms at scale, serving Fortune 500 companies and global governments.
You'll join as a Product Designer focused on UI and visual design for Classiq's quantum developer platform. This is a hands-on role where you'll own the visual and interaction design of key platform components, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing the visual language and UI for Classiq's SaaS platform and quantum developer tools, with emphasis on visual quality and polish
- Creating UI/UX for complex, technical workflows that make abstract quantum concepts feel intuitive
- Developing illustration and graphic design elements, from iconography to comprehensive visual systems
- Translating technical and scientific ideas into clear, visually compelling experiences
- Raising the visual bar and evolving the design language in a high-impact, low-structure environment
You should have a standout portfolio demonstrating craft and distinctive UI/UX work. Strong graphic design skills are essential; illustration experience is a plus. Background in visually demanding domains (game design, data visualization, developer tools, design tools, music software) is advantageous. Experience with scientific or technical products is valued, though quantum expertise is not required—genuine curiosity about how complex systems work is key.
You'll need shipped UI/UX/product work you can reference with live project links, proficiency in Figma, and fluent English. This role suits someone with a strong point of view who can define direction rather than just execute, thriving in an environment with few predefined roadmaps.
