Kit is an email marketing platform built for creators—coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters—to grow audiences, automate marketing, and sell digital products. The company is 100% independent and remote-first, on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using their platform.
Kit Studios is Kit's in-house creator studio space offering free professional podcast and video recording for creators on Creator and Creator Pro plans. The Chicago location is being rebuilt, and this role is the operational and community heart of that space.
As Studios Manager, you'll manage day-to-day studio operations: greeting creators, maintaining the space, running bookings, and handling vendor/building coordination. The core of the role, however, is relationship-building. You'll get to know visiting creators, understand their work and goals, connect them to Kit's tools and community, and identify qualified leads for the sales team.
You'll report to Haley Janicek, Head of Creator Community, and collaborate with Kit Studios coordinators in Boise and New York, plus cross-functional partners in sales, marketing, support, and operations. You sit at the mid-funnel: marketing drives top-of-funnel acquisition, sales closes deals, and you're the connective tissue—surfacing and tracking qualified leads from studio visits.
In your first week, you'll onboard with Haley and stakeholders, learn booking systems and logistics, connect with the Chicago creator community, and familiarize yourself with studio equipment (Shure, ATEM, Rode) and internal tools (Notion, Slack, Claude, Customer.io).
By the end of month one, you'll manage the studio independently: greeting creators, handling bookings, basic technical troubleshooting, studio organization, and vendor coordination. You'll own the internal booking system and building management relationship. You'll identify creators for Creator Pro upgrades and deeper partnerships, drive studio awareness via Customer.io campaigns, and capture photo/video content for marketing.
Within six months, you'll be a known figure in the Chicago creator community, consistently delivering excellent experiences with strong NPS scores. You'll host or participate in creator events and meetups, funnel qualified leads to sales, maintain smooth studio operations, and know the high-subscriber-count Kit customers in the Chicago area. You'll support continued studio build-out and explore ways to drive utilization and revenue.
The role is ideal if you're a creator yourself, excited about the creator economy, love making others feel seen and supported, and are already embedded in or deeply connected to the Chicago creator community. You'll roll up your sleeves to create content alongside creators and build authentic relationships that naturally lead to conversations about Kit's value.
