Salary: USD 130,000 - 150,000 / annual

Phospholutions is a venture-backed agtech company transforming global phosphorus use through its proprietary RhizoSorb® technology. The company helps growers improve fertilizer efficiency, support plant health, and reduce environmental impact. As Key Account Manager, you will serve as the commercial owner of assigned strategic accounts in the agricultural sector. This is a senior-level role focused on building executive relationships, driving enterprise adoption of innovative agricultural technology, and executing multi-year growth strategies with large agricultural retailers, cooperatives, and enterprise customers. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing multi-year growth plans for strategic accounts - Driving revenue growth through increased product adoption, market penetration, and account expansion - Building trusted relationships with senior leaders, commercial decision-makers, procurement teams, and agronomy leadership - Leading complex sales cycles from evaluation and field validation through commercial adoption - Negotiating pricing, commercial agreements, and strategic partnerships - Collaborating cross-functionally with Technical Agronomy, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive Leadership - Converting trials and demonstrations into scalable commercial opportunities - Maintaining accurate forecasts, pipelines, and account plans - Representing Phospholutions at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing, or related field; 8+ years of agricultural sales, key account management, or commercial leadership experience; proven success managing large agricultural retailers, cooperatives, or enterprise accounts; experience leading complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders; proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office; valid US work authorization and driver's license; ability to travel 50-75% throughout assigned territory. Preferred experience includes fertilizer, crop nutrition, biologicals, or specialty agriculture sales; commercialization of new agricultural technologies; agronomy or nutrient management knowledge; and experience negotiating strategic partnerships and leading retailer adoption programs. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers with strong ownership mentality, results-driven and accountable, skilled at building executive relationships, exceptional communicators, commercially savvy, comfortable navigating complex organizations, and highly collaborative.
