Alan is a prevention-focused health insurance company serving 1M+ members across 40K+ companies, with €800M+ ARR. The company integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a unified platform and is building a global leading company with 800+ employees.
The Account Management team (30+ people) focuses on ensuring key accounts stay and grow with Alan. You will join this team to manage a portfolio of strategic Public Sector accounts (Ministries and other public entities) in France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of strategic Public Sector accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Display a customer-centric approach to identify client needs and help them achieve goals through Alan's platform
- Proactively identify signals of dissatisfaction and implement solutions
- Ensure successful onboarding of new accounts and promote Alan's health partner positioning to drive employee and admin adoption
- Analyze and present consumption reports to customers through business reviews
- Identify and execute creative initiatives to engage existing customers
- Renegotiate contracts to ensure value for customers and sustainable profitability
- Act as the voice of customers in discussions with Product teams regarding service and product evolution
The role offers ownership, fast-paced work, and the opportunity to tackle complex problems with a talented team. You will be based in Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, or Annecy with flexible office arrangements and access to sponsored co-working hubs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a customer-facing role with frequent C-Level interactions
- Full working proficiency in French (excellent oral and written communication)
- Advanced level English proficiency
- Experience dealing with large organizations and potentially unions
- Strong negotiation skills with tact and empathy
- Expertise in stakeholder management and building trust-based long-term relationships
- Highly analytical with ability to present complex data analysis to clients and solve complex problems
- Excellent active listening skills and ability to craft effective follow-up communications
- Growth mindset with ability to adapt to new trends and develop in-depth understanding of health insurance market
- Currently based in or willing to relocate to Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, or Annecy
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in Insurance or benefits-related industries
- Experience with or within the Public Sector
