ServiceNow is seeking an ITAM Solution Architect to lead the technical design and delivery of IT Asset Management solutions for enterprise customers. As the company transitions from a workflow platform with AI features to an AI-native platform where agents do the work, accurate asset, license, and cost management becomes critical—this role owns that problem.
You will architect comprehensive ITAM solutions including Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Cloud Cost Management (CCM). You'll define data models, integration patterns, and CMDB alignment strategies to support accurate asset lifecycle tracking, and guide customers through discovery-to-normalization data flows and reconciliation processes.
Beyond technical design, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, providing evidence-based assessments of ITAM maturity, license compliance risk, and cost optimization strategies grounded in real current-state analysis. You'll partner with delivery teams to ensure architectural decisions are technically sound and scalable, proactively identify and surface project risks and scope gaps to leadership, and mentor Technical Consultants and Business Process Consultants on ITAM design patterns.

**Requirements:**
Required:
- Practical experience applying AI tools like Otto and AI Control Tower to asset management workflows, with judgment about where they add value
- Experience in IT asset management, software asset management, or related enterprise IT operations roles
- Demonstrated experience architecting ITAM solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB integration as it relates to asset data accuracy
- Executive presence and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills, with background in data governance, data catalogs, ontologies, business intelligence, engineering, or other technical fields
- Collaborative, one-team mindset skilled at working across sales, solution consulting, and delivery organizations
- Required certifications: CSA and CIS-HAM or CIS-SAM (held or obtained within an agreed window)
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ITAM industry frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 19770)
- CMA/CTA certifications for architect-track candidates
- ITAM industry certifications (e.g., IAITAM)
