OLIX is building the next generation of AI infrastructure, specifically decode accelerators designed to address the massive compute and power demands of modern AI. The company is hiring an IT Systems Engineer to own the reliability, architecture, and evolution of the internal tools and systems that every team depends on daily.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the complete IT and business-systems stack: identity and SSO, device management (Mac and Windows), Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Atlassian, HRIS, ATS, and finance platforms. You'll move beyond reactive ticket-handling to own the architecture and roadmap for these systems, ensuring they scale ahead of the company's rapid growth.
Key responsibilities include: architecting and maintaining the business-systems stack; leading company-wide IT projects from scoping through delivery; serving as the final escalation point for complex, cross-system issues; building AI agents and automations to eliminate manual toil; partnering with InfoSec on secure SaaS vendor onboarding; and mentoring others while raising the bar on operational excellence.
You'll have substantial architectural work from day one, including a significant identity provider and device management migration. Beyond core infrastructure, you'll act as OLIX's AI enabler, identifying manual processes worth automating and building scalable, AI-powered solutions that multiply team productivity.
Required experience: 3+ years in IT systems engineering with a track record of owning systems end-to-end; expert-level knowledge of Windows and Mac device management, Google Workspace, and Google Cloud Identity; deep hands-on experience with SSO platforms (Okta, OneLogin, JumpCloud); experience administering SaaS and collaboration tools at scale; coding and scripting in general-purpose languages plus Google Workspace developer tools; solid IT security fundamentals; and proven ability to drive ambiguous, medium-to-large problems to durable resolution.
Nice-to-have: exposure to fast-moving hardware or deep-tech startups and comfort with infrastructure-as-code change management culture.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, skills, and location. The role includes meaningful equity, an annual living-local bonus for those within 20 minutes of the office, and employer-contributed retirement benefits.
