Port is an Agentic SDLC Platform that helps engineering teams build, govern, and operate the software development lifecycle with AI agents. Following a $100M Series C funding round, the company is in a growth and global expansion phase. As IT Specialist, you'll be the primary IT support person for Port's US operations, based in Boston. You'll provide day-to-day technical support to Boston-based employees and remote US staff, with timezone coverage for worldwide employees as needed. Key responsibilities include: - User support and troubleshooting for Boston and remote US staff, plus global timezone coverage - US procurement and asset management: forecasting needs, working with suppliers, placing orders, and ensuring new hires receive equipment on time - Onboarding and offboarding: account provisioning, hardware setup, access management - Endpoint management: configuration, maintenance, lifecycle management, and compliance with security standards - Corporate application support: Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, Zoom, Slack, Jira, Notion, and integration troubleshooting - Onsite IT operations lead for North America offices, coordinating vendor visits, hardware deliveries, office network maintenance, and assisting with new office openings (may require travel) - Security and compliance: ensuring adherence to SOC2 controls and company standards - Network installation and administration for current and new offices - AI integration: actively use AI tools in daily work to improve efficiency, write documentation, reduce repetitive tasks, and identify opportunities for IT workflow automation You'll report to the Director of IT and collaborate with IT peers in other regions, Security, HR, and Facilities. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the key IT point of contact for North America-based employees.
