You will serve as the IT Operations Site Lead for Airwallex's Singapore office, acting as the primary on-site IT contact and regional support lead for Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia). This is a hands-on technical role requiring 5 days per week in-office presence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning IT operations and reliability for the Singapore location, serving as the escalation point for regional sites
- Providing on-site and remote technical support across macOS, Windows, and major SaaS applications
- Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics for Apple and Windows systems
- Managing AV support for meeting rooms and event spaces
- Running new hire IT onboarding events and managing employee/contractor setup
- Vendor management, procurement, and inventory logistics across Singapore and regional sites
- Partnering with workplace, infosec, people ops, and facilities teams on office buildouts and vendor evaluation
- Writing clear technical documentation and guides
- Providing executive and VIP support
- Mentoring junior IT team members in the region
- Driving process improvements and leveraging AI to enhance efficiency
You bring strong site management or IT operations leadership experience, ideally as a primary site lead in a regional or remote office. People management or tech lead experience is valued. You communicate exceptionally well in written and verbal English, operate autonomously with good judgment, and thrive in startup environments managing ambiguity across multiple concurrent projects. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to coordinate across teams are essential.
