Pave Bank is the world's first programmable business bank, founded by the creators of Monzo and BigPay. The company is redefining global business banking by combining programmable financial infrastructure with institutional-grade client experiences. As Investment Operations Specialist, you will manage the day-to-day back office for the investment business. Your core responsibilities include processing client transactions across their complete lifecycle—from initial instruction through confirmation to settlement and maturity. You will reconcile positions and cash daily against counterparty records, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly. Key duties include calculating month-end client yield and fee accruals, reconciling them to counterparty reporting, and preparing monthly client statements with dual verification before release. You will support the bank's collateral custody service, managing asset movements, processing client instructions, and delivering periodic reporting. You'll maintain accurate client records and supporting documentation while responding to queries from clients, counterparties, and auditors. You will work closely with Finance, Compliance, and external counterparties, reporting to the Head of Asset Management. An important part of the role involves identifying operational and regulatory risks early, documenting procedures, and helping migrate manual processes into the bank's back-office tooling systems. Ideal candidates bring 1–4 years of operations, finance, fund administration, or client servicing experience from banks, brokers, asset managers, or fund administrators. You should be detail-oriented and numerate, noticing discrepancies and verifying before communicating. Strong Excel skills and comfort with large datasets are essential. You'll need composure under month-end and reporting deadlines, sound judgment for escalations, clear written English for institutional correspondence, and discretion with confidential information. Experience with securities settlement, fixed income, repo, digital assets, collateral management, custodian platforms, fund accounting, client onboarding, tax documentation, or operations tooling is a plus.
