Revolut is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its Audit team, which plays a critical role in the company's risk management and compliance infrastructure. The successful candidate will execute end-to-end, risk-based audits focused on customer journey and compliance across Revolut's retail and business financial products.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Head of Internal Audit to develop and execute audit reviews aligned with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and IIA standards. You will lead and execute internal audits across core customer journeys with minimal supervision, formulating high-quality audit reports that articulate risk findings, root causes, and management action plans. The role requires leveraging SQL and modern data analytics tools to perform data-driven testing and maximize audit coverage.
You will scope, execute, and deliver audit reviews independently, highlighting deficiencies and recommendations that add business value. Managing relationships with senior stakeholders across the business is essential, including navigating challenging conversations and securing buy-in on audit outcomes. You will validate the closure of audit findings to ensure robust, sustainable risk remediation and monitor audit progress against timelines and scope.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of audit-related experience within a regulated financial services environment, with knowledge of European and UK regulations and frameworks. Experience in customer support channels, customer satisfaction, complaints handling, regulatory compliance frameworks, or customer communications is essential. Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, SAS, Python, or R) and knowledge of IIA standards are required. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are vital.
