As an Internal Auditor reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of risk management, control, and corporate governance across the organization. Your responsibilities include planning, executing, and reporting on regulatory, operational, financial, and business internal audit assignments. You will document company policies and procedures, participate in developing the annual audit plan using a risk-based approach, and identify control loopholes while recommending risk mitigation measures and cost savings opportunities.
You will conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's implementation of audit recommendations and stay current with evolving sector regulations, best practices, tools, and performance standards. The role offers exposure to a growing AI-enabled fintech operating in the dynamic European payments sector.
Required qualifications include a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Computer Science, or equivalent. You must have 3–6 years of auditing experience gained through public accounting firms and/or industry roles. You should possess proven knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and regulations, with strong data manipulation and reporting skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and values discretion and confidentiality.
The position is based in either London or Milton Keynes, offering flexibility in office location. Benefits include an annual bonus up to 4 months' salary based on performance, 25 days holiday plus statutory entitlements, a pension scheme, and group medical coverage.
