Alan is a fast-growing healthtech and prevention insurance company serving 1M+ members across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. The company integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a unified platform and has reached €800M+ in ARR with 800+ employees. The Internal Audit function sits within Alan's Corporate team alongside Risk, Governance, Legal, Compliance, and Security. This team is reinventing internal audit—moving beyond traditional compliance audits to act as genuine business partners while maintaining independence. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will lead end-to-end audits autonomously across Finance, Insurance Operations, Compliance, IT, and Security. Key responsibilities include: scoping and executing audits from inception through Audit Committee reporting; owning and driving closure of 15–20 open audit recommendations; representing Internal Audit at governance level; co-building next-generation audit tooling and automation; and partnering with Finance, Risk, Actuarial, Compliance, and Operations teams. By the end of year one, you will have independently led at least 3 full audits, contributed to 2+ automation initiatives, and built trust to represent the function at governance level without oversight. Required qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on internal audit experience spanning operational, compliance, and financial audits; deep expertise in risk management across Actuarial, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, and Security; fluency in French and English; strong command of insurance and financial services; sharp legal and regulatory instincts; strong quantitative and data analysis skills including SQL; and a builder mindset excited to shape differentiated audit practices. Desirable: experience auditing automated and data-driven processes, IT/cybersecurity audits, and managing recommendation tracking at scale with engineering or product teams. The role offers remote-flexible work with an emphasis on in-person collaboration. You must be legally eligible to work in France.
