Ashby is seeking an Integrations Lead, Partnerships to own the full scope of their integration ecosystem as it scales. Reporting to the VP of Partnerships (Kat), you'll manage integration partnerships across inbound, outbound, and account management, serving as the technical liaison between partners, Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Own the inbound integration lifecycle from qualification through launch and ongoing maintenance. You'll guide partners through the entire process—from NDA and sandbox access to API documentation, onboarding, testing, and launch—using sound judgment about customer value, product fit, technical feasibility, and Ashby's priorities. You'll set clear expectations, keep work moving, and close the loop thoughtfully when an integration isn't the right fit. Connect partners with Product and Engineering by serving as the technical and commercial liaison. You'll translate partner and customer needs into clear requirements and tradeoffs, help determine the right path (native build, partner-built integration, connector, unified API, or roadmap opportunity), and guide partners through API concepts like authentication, endpoints, webhooks, data mapping, and workflow design. You'll also ensure Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams are well-versed on current and upcoming integrations. Own quality, launches, and strategic partnerships. Coordinate integration reviews and launch readiness, maintain the external integration directory and partner-facing resources, manage larger relationships (e.g., ADP), represent Ashby externally in partner discovery and roadmap conversations, and optimize integrations when updates arise. Improve operational foundations for scale. Keep partnership systems current, improve swim lanes and handoffs, automate high-frequency work while preserving human judgment for strategic decisions, and work with the knowledge base team to maintain integration documentation. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong communication and collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Marketing. You'll be on the front lines of HR Tech, speaking with inbound partners and guiding them on best practices for developing against Ashby's APIs. Success means maintaining strong ownership over the partner experience while being direct about a customer-first mindset. Requirements: - Experience at the intersection of partnerships, product, technology, and customers—in integration or platform partnerships, technical program management, product management, solutions architecture, implementation, or similar role - Technical fluency with APIs, authentication, data flows, webhooks, sandboxes, and integration tradeoffs (not required to be an engineer, but must be comfortable asking precise questions and learning how systems work) - Strong product and business judgment to distinguish between interesting requests, customer problems, strategic opportunities, and commitments Ashby should make - Clear communication and strong writing skills; ability to build trust with partners, set expectations, give direct guidance, and turn messy conversations into crisp requirements and documentation - Operational discipline and improvement mindset; ability to own high-volume workstreams, create structure in ambiguity, automate repetitive work, and follow through across teams - Deep care for customer experience and ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and external partners - Comfort with technical detail, difficult prioritization decisions, and direct conversations about fit and expectations - Ability to work across time zones and travel occasionally - Strong async communication, proactive follow-up, and comfort representing Ashby externally - Comfort leading meetings with customer leads, partner leads, and internal Product Managers
