Apple's E-Business Services team is hiring an Integration Software Engineer to design and build highly scalable B2B integration platforms. You will develop Java-based infrastructure-as-code components using object storage and NoSQL databases, working on frameworks that process high-volume transactions with Apple's partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop frameworks for processing high-volume transactions with Apple's partners
- Utilize technical leadership to drive enhancements and scale B2B platforms
- Develop solutions optimizing availability and consistency across multiple data centers and cloud providers
- Enhance frameworks for managing persistence, event processing, uniqueness, transaction correlation, and notifications
- Collaborate closely with domain-specific project developers, operations, and systems engineers

REQUIREMENTS:
- More than 8+ years of strong programming experience in Java for middleware or backend applications
- More than 2 years of experience building frameworks using middleware like Apache Camel
- More than 5+ years of experience with Java frameworks such as Spring
- More than 5+ years of experience with Oracle or similar relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- More than 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable and reliable solutions using Distributed System Architecture
- Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
- Knowledge of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, and web application load balancing
- Deep understanding of basic security concepts and protocols (authentication, authorization, signing, encryption, SSL/TLS, SSH/SFTP, PKI, X509 certificates, PGP)
- Firsthand experience in performance tuning of applications and databases
- Passion for programming and conceptual understanding of the operating environment (JVM, Operating System, File Systems, Network Protocols)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good knowledge of scripting languages such as bash/Perl
- Knowledge of cloud-based solution integrations
- Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals
- Working experience in Agile development methodology
- Results-oriented with high degree of ownership and accountability
- Creative problem-solver and excellent collaborator
- Ability to lead large projects focusing on innovation, teamwork, and results
- Demonstrated track record of achieving outstanding results
