Salary: USD 45,000 - 120,000 / annual
Travefy is a SaaS platform serving 50,000+ travel agencies and advisors, providing tools for client management, trip design, marketing, and back-office operations. This Inside Account Executive role is hybrid by design, combining inbound conversion and outbound prospecting in a high-volume, fast-cycle sales environment.
You will own four key areas: (1) Converting inbound demand—running 1:1 and group demos for qualified prospects, with over 50% conversion rates; (2) Creating your own demand—building outreach lists and filling your calendar through phone, email, and text to individual advisors and small teams not yet using Travefy; (3) Growing advisors into teams—identifying expansion opportunities early and upselling from Core to Premium tiers; (4) Winning back lapsed trials and churned customers through deliberate outreach.
Day-to-day responsibilities include running demos with self-scheduled prospects, building and working your own outbound lists, following up on every demo within 24 hours, routing larger opportunities to the appropriate team, maintaining accurate pipeline data in HubSpot, and feeding market intelligence back to marketing and product teams.
You will report to Revenue Leadership and collaborate closely with marketing, account management, and the agency sales team. This is a high-volume role where you'll run more sales conversations in a month than most reps run in a quarter, with real influence over how the sales motion and company evolve.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years in a closing sales seat, ideally in high-volume SMB or self-service SaaS (not a support role with quota)
- Demonstrated ability to source your own pipeline; must provide an example of a deal created from scratch, not handed by marketing or SDR
- Comfort with high-volume activity: many conversations daily, short sales cycles, small deals that accumulate
- Ability to run group demos with multiple participants, handle live questions, and navigate competing perspectives
- Consultative selling approach—asking real questions before showing features, even in time-constrained calls
- Fluency with HubSpot, sequencing tools, and AI integrated into daily workflow (not theoretical knowledge)
- Proactive communication: flag calendar gaps early in the week with a plan to fill them
- Authorized to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship available)
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience in travel industry or selling to travel advisors, host agencies, or consortia
- Background selling to owner-operated small businesses
- Experience with product-led or self-service funnels where buyers can purchase independently
