Salary: USD 149,000 - 209,000 / annual

Recorded Future, a leading intelligence company serving 1,900+ clients worldwide, is seeking an In-House Counsel to support its Americas business (North America, LATAM, and Public Sector customers). This hybrid role is based in Boston with 2–3 days per week in the office. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving sales quotes to ensure accurate terms and company alignment. You'll draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements including order forms, master service agreements (MSAs), amendments, data processing agreements (DPAs), and security and AI addenda. Working closely with Sales, RevOps, and Finance teams, you'll resolve commercial requests and improve contracting responsiveness. You'll apply established playbooks and approval thresholds, propose practical solutions, and escalate exceptions as needed. Additional responsibilities include supporting vendor and procurement contracting in Ironclad, handling occasional marketing agreements, building independence in customer negotiations, and contributing ideas to improve legal workflows. You'll gain exposure to privacy, information security, and AI contract issues, with opportunities to develop expertise in these areas. REQUIREMENTS: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited university and admission to a U.S. bar in good standing - Minimum 1+ years of law firm or in-house legal experience - Prior exposure to SaaS contracts and familiarity with data processing agreements (DPAs) - Transactional training with practical drafting and negotiation skills - Foundational understanding of privacy, information security, and AI contract issues - Willingness to learn company products and use AI tools - Sound judgment, clear communication, and practical business-support approach - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, repeatable work alongside complex matters - Fluent English and availability to work from Boston office 2–3 days per week Helpful but not required: Experience with large-enterprise or public-sector agreements; Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
