DEUNA is a rapidly growing fintech startup revolutionizing global commerce with ATHIA, an AI-powered orchestration and payments platform. The company helps large enterprises boost approval rates, reduce costs, and unlock new revenue through deep integrations across 300+ payment service providers and alternative payment methods. With over 20% of Mexico's digital economy running through their platform, DEUNA is expanding into the U.S. market. As an Implementation Manager, you will own the complete merchant onboarding and integration journey after pre-sales closes the technical design. You will prepare comprehensive Statements of Work (SOW) including test credentials, API documentation, integration diagrams, and project-specific technical materials. You'll define and align go-live timelines with merchants, breaking down projects into phases and identifying key milestones, dependencies, and risks. You will serve as the merchant's primary technical point of contact during integration, supporting their engineering teams with troubleshooting, best practices, and clarifications. You'll own timeline management, ensuring both merchants and internal teams meet project deadlines while actively managing risks, delays, and escalations. Collaboration with Product and Engineering teams is critical—you'll escalate integration blockers, prioritize them, and follow up on new product developments required by merchants. You'll build both internal-facing UAT matrices (for Product team alignment on acceptance criteria) and merchant-facing UAT matrices (ensuring comprehensive testing of payment flows and use cases). You'll drive clean go-live processes by monitoring launch success and ensuring operational readiness of all payment flows (success, failure handling, refunds, tokenization, etc.). Post-launch, you'll remain engaged for 3 weeks to ensure stability before handing off the account. This role requires 3+ years of technical project management, technical account management, merchant integrations, or technical consulting experience, preferably in Fintech, Payments, or SaaS. You need strong technical understanding of payment integrations (APIs, SDKs, payment gateways, fraud vendors, alternative payment methods), exceptional project management skills, and proven client-facing experience leading technical conversations with merchant engineering teams. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Startup or high-growth tech environment experience is a plus.
