Mollie is a European payments and money management platform serving 250,000+ businesses across 14+ locations. As Implementation Manager, you'll own the post-sales integration phase for Mollie's largest and most complex deals in the Italian market, guiding merchants from handover through testing to go live. You'll run kickoffs with internal and external stakeholders, set go-live dates, keep progress on track, and coordinate testing and feedback. Working closely with sales, product, engineering, and merchants directly, you'll maintain alignment as deals move toward launch. This newly formed function offers real influence over how the role and its processes take shape, bringing your own experience rather than following a fixed playbook. The role is more technical than typical for implementation management: you'll get close to real-world edge cases and issues that surface once solutions meet implementation reality, providing hands-on technical exposure without requiring a payments or engineering background. You'll own the post-sales integration phase, run stakeholder kickoffs, organize and track testing, raise issues and feedback, coordinate across internal teams and external merchants, keep go-live dates on track (delays impact revenue), and maintain documentation and playbooks for scalable delivery. You'll report to Jan-Jaap van Helden and be part of the team's expansion into new markets, starting with Italy. Your work protects revenue by keeping live dates on track and supports how Mollie scales delivery more broadly, building a structured, dedicated integration phase for its biggest deals. You bring 3–5 years of ecommerce or payments experience in a similar role, fluency in Italian and English (supporting the Italian market and working directly with local merchants), strong organizational and project management skills, genuine technical interest and ability to understand APIs and technical concepts, an ownership mindset, honest and open communication style with a strong track record collaborating with pre-sales teams and handling conflict at handover. Payments or ecommerce experience is a strong plus but not required.
