Thatch is seeking an Implementation Manager to lead mid-market employers through their transition to ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements), also known as CHOICE. This role bridges the gap between sales and account management, owning the entire implementation lifecycle from pre-sale planning through successful launch and handoff. You will serve as a trusted guide helping customers navigate a fundamental shift in how they deliver health benefits. This goes beyond technical setup—it requires helping employers adopt new processes, mindsets, and communication strategies around benefits delivery. You'll develop deep expertise in ICHRA and health benefits, becoming a strategic advisor to customers. Key responsibilities include: building and managing detailed project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and dependencies; leading customers through organizational change required for ICHRA adoption; educating and training employers and plan administrators; developing customized enrollment strategies and employee communication plans; coordinating enrollment readiness across eligibility data, payroll, integrations, and testing; partnering with Field Account Managers and Sales teams; and collaborating with internal teams (Product, Operations, Support, Compliance) to keep implementations on track. You'll also identify process friction points and drive continuous improvement in implementation scalability. Ideal candidates have experience leading customer implementations, onboarding programs, or complex change-management initiatives. You should excel at project and process management, stakeholder alignment, customer communication, and translating technical concepts into practical guidance. Comfort with customer data, file transfers, system integrations, and technical partners is essential. You'll influence cross-functionally without direct authority, anticipate risks, and manage competing priorities effectively. Benefits or HR technology experience is helpful but not required; curiosity and motivation to develop deep ICHRA expertise matter more.
