First Due is a mission-driven software company providing fire and EMS agencies with end-to-end operational solutions. The Implementation Consultant, Emergency Operations role is responsible for configuring, deploying, and enabling First Due's field response and operations modules—Pre-Planning, Responder, Hydrants, and Command—which equip first responders with critical tools during active incidents. Key responsibilities include: **Module Configuration & Delivery**: Configure Pre-Planning modules with occupancy records, hazards, and pre-incident plans aligned to NFPA 1620 standards. Set up Responder for mobile incident response, including unit views, dispatch integration, and field data access. Configure Hydrants inventory and flow testing records per NFPA 291. Build Command workflows for incident command and accountability with tactical worksheets. **Project Execution**: Partner with an assigned Implementation Manager to deliver milestones on schedule, surface risks early, and maintain accurate project documentation in Rocketlane. Coordinate with Technical Services on CAD and AVL data flows. Surface product gaps, defects, and enhancement requests to leadership and product teams. **Qualifications**: Minimum three years of customer-facing implementation, configuration, or professional services experience in SaaS, or equivalent operational experience in fire/public safety. Strong knowledge of fire ground operations, incident command structures, pre-incident planning, and water supply systems. Demonstrated familiarity with field response workflows, GIS/mapping concepts, and professional services delivery platforms like Rocketlane. Excellent organizational, communication, and training skills. **Preferred**: Direct firefighting or fire service experience (company officer, training officer, GIS coordinator). Knowledge of NFPA standards, GIS platforms, mobile data terminals, Salesforce, or professional certifications (PMP, ITIL). The role is fully remote (US-based only) with minimal travel. Reports to Manager, Implementation Consulting. Full-time position.
