F5 is seeking a Business Development Representative II for a hybrid role based in Spokane Valley, WA. This is a strategic position requiring in-depth knowledge of how technology enables business goals and overcomes challenges. You will drive new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential customers through targeted research and outreach. The role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution, requiring you to conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling and email campaigns, develop deep product knowledge, and collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure proper lead handoff and nurturing through the sales pipeline.
Key responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, executing outbound prospecting activities, maintaining strong product and service knowledge, collaborating with sales on lead management, meeting weekly and monthly activity and pipeline goals, maintaining accurate CRM records, staying current on industry trends and competitors, and attending industry events for networking and business generation.
You should have a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, with 2+ years of sales or business development experience. Ideal candidates are self-starters with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce. Familiarity with the software industry or experience selling software products is a plus.
