Emburse is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and business leaders. This role translates business priorities into effective people strategies and provides guidance on organizational design, talent planning, performance management, engagement, leadership development, and change management. The HRBP will build trusted relationships with leaders across business teams and develop a deep understanding of Emburse's strategic business plan, operating model, and leadership dynamics. Key responsibilities include translating business priorities into practical people plans that support growth and organizational health; leveraging workforce data and business insights to identify trends and anticipate talent needs; partnering with HR Centers of Excellence (compensation, benefits, L&D, talent acquisition, HR operations) to drive business value and employee engagement; and collaborating on organizational design initiatives including role clarity, span and layer management, workforce planning, and team effectiveness. The role involves activating annual business processes such as year-end performance reviews, compensation reviews, promotion assessments, and talent assessments. The successful candidate will represent functional team needs in company-wide people program design and serve as a trusted advisor providing unbiased, direct feedback to key leaders. There is a strong emphasis on adopting an AI-forward HR strategy to scale and optimize operations. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, 6-8 years of progressive HR experience with meaningful HRBP background, and experience supporting multiple functions in a SaaS, technology, or consulting company with high-growth expectations. Preferred experience includes work at Private Equity-backed companies and using AI to enhance HR productivity. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong business and financial acumen, excellent communication skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
