The Human Resources Associate will support Thrive Market's People Operations team across multiple HR functional areas. This role serves as a bridge between staffing agencies, employees, and HR leadership, handling administrative and operational HR tasks in a fast-paced, scaling environment. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting employees and staffing representatives with HR functional issues and administrative problem-solving - Processing employment changes in the HRIS system, including personal information updates and system configurations - Completing daily and weekly staffing and employee reports - Supporting payroll accuracy by coordinating with staffing agencies and HQ payroll teams - Facilitating orientation classes for new and staffing employees - Serving as first point of contact for managers and employees on HR policy interpretation, performance management, and employee relations - Supporting HR Leaders on employment-related matters including leaves of absence, employee relations investigations, workers compensation, and OSHA compliance - Identifying HR trends, risks, and opportunities, recommending solutions to leadership - Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion The role requires flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends, as operations run 24/7. Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity, multitasking, and working both collaboratively and independently. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and adaptability in a startup environment.
