Salary: USD 80,000 - 110,000 / annual
Jam City, a leading mobile games developer, is seeking an HRIS Analyst to serve as the technical expert for human capital management systems (HCMs) in their Los Angeles office. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining HCM platforms, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with the People Team to implement new functionality and troubleshoot issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the initial point of escalation for system errors or failures related to Workday applications, direct access, data integration, and other supported HR systems
- Manage documentation of all HR system manuals with a focus on user-friendly and easy-to-update approaches
- Propose efficiency and quality improvements through projects and day-to-day work
- Collaborate with Audit/Legal, Finance, and IT teams to provide necessary data for system access reviews and audits
- Gather and compile data related to external reporting compliance (EEO-1, VETS 100) and external audits (403(b), Joint Commission, CARF, and other regulatory audits)
- Maintain HCM settings including compensation data tables, organizational structure, and workflow settings
- Serve as primary contact for all data transmitted from HR via software feeds (Workday, Lever, Culture Amp, Egencia, Okta, carrier feeds) and resolve data integrity issues
- Act as a professional resource and consultant to HR staff and cross-functional teams regarding HR systems and data
- Develop and maintain reports and queries for ongoing and ad hoc customer needs
- Research and resolve HCM problems, unexpected results, or process flaws
- Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes
- Serve as key liaison with internal and external stakeholders (payroll, benefit vendors, HCM solution providers)
- May provide overall project management for HR initiatives
- Maintain awareness of current trends and developments in HR technology
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation; train users on new processes and functionality

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of HR experience with in-depth knowledge of Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, and Performance processes and policies
- 3+ years of HRIS/HCM experience required, preferably Workday; configuration and reporting development experience preferred
- Experience with Core HCM, Benefits, and Absence Management preferred; Payroll and integration knowledge a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with strong ethics
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and collaborative, team-oriented approach; high attention to detail required
- Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and proficiency with Microsoft/Google applications (Docs, Slides, etc.)
- Strong technical aptitude and experience with reporting and data analysis with demonstrated understanding of HR data management concepts and issues
