Salary: USD 66,400 - 75,800 / annual
Wave Mobile Money is a fintech company on a mission to make Africa the first cashless continent by building accessible financial services. The company operates across 9 African countries, serving millions of users with mobile banking, peer-to-peer payments, and business payment solutions.
As HR Systems Analyst, you'll be a critical bridge between Wave's People team and technical infrastructure, supporting the company's rapid scaling across multiple countries with different regulatory environments. You'll report to the HR Systems Lead within the HR Technology team.
Key responsibilities include:
**HRIS Migration & Implementation**: Lead the 2026 migration to a new HRIS platform, including system configuration, data extraction/transformation/loading, data quality checks, and testing. You'll build deep knowledge of existing processes and data sources, ensure business continuity, and configure workflows for multi-country compliance.
**Core HR Systems Support**: Implement and adapt systems and workflows per roadmap priorities, including rolling out an internal service desk, analyzing workflows to reduce manual effort and increase automation, supporting talent management/workforce management/payroll system migrations, overseeing upgrades and patches, training HR teams and end-users, and troubleshooting technical issues.
**HR Data Management & Reporting**: Manage stakeholder relationships across HR, Talent, and Payroll teams to ensure data quality standards. Conduct audits to identify discrepancies, expand data quality into strategic dashboards supporting HR and business decision-making, and manage data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, local regulations).
**Compliance & Risk Management**: Monitor and enforce compliance with local, state, and international HR data regulations. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
You must be based in a talent hub country (UK, Spain, Kenya, Ghana) or an operating market (Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso) with work authorization and reliable internet. The role includes an annual one-week immersion trip to Africa (company-covered).
