Ledger, a global Web3 and digital assets platform securing over 20% of the world's crypto assets, is seeking an experienced HR Operations Senior Manager to lead its HR operations function from the Paris headquarters. You will own the complete spectrum of HR operations across Ledger's global footprint, including payroll management for all group entities, immigration and international mobility, employer-of-record arrangements, and equity/mandatory reporting. Leading a team of 3, you'll play a central role in Ledger's ongoing global HR transformation, partnering with ADP as the external payroll provider. Key responsibilities include: managing end-to-end payroll operations with accuracy and timeliness; auditing and improving payroll and admin processes; driving ADP system implementation and upgrades; overseeing variable pay elements including commissions and annual payouts; managing mandatory social declarations (DSN), training contributions, and equity stock options; ensuring accurate processing of new hires, transfers, salary changes, leaves, and terminations in the HRIS; collaborating with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs on employee lifecycle management; managing visa applications and work permits for international hires; structuring and overseeing EOR arrangements in countries without local entities; administering apprenticeship and internship contracts; and handling tax and declarative aspects of employee shareholding and mandatory reporting obligations. You bring 7+ years of HR Operations, Payroll, or People Ops experience, ideally in fast-scaling tech or international environments. You have a proven track record managing payroll for multi-entity groups with variable pay structures, experience with HR system implementations (ADP experience is a strong plus), and prior team management experience. You possess deep knowledge of French labor law, social declarations, and payroll compliance; comfort working across jurisdictions; strong analytical skills; fluency in French and English (both used daily); and proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll tools, and Excel/Sheets. You're a builder who improves processes rather than just managing them, detail-oriented while maintaining strategic perspective, calm under pressure during payroll closes and regulatory deadlines, and a natural collaborator with Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and business leaders. You communicate clearly and bring structure to complex topics.
