Remote is a global employment platform that helps organizations recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly across 80+ countries. The company is seeking an HR Manager for Time & Attendance to lead the APAC-focused Lifecycle Time & Attendance team.
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations and owns planning, implementation, and service delivery for the T&A team. You will guide and develop direct reports, foster a positive remote team culture across international borders, and lead performance management through bi-annual evaluations. Key responsibilities include recruitment and training of regional team members, complex case resolution on high-risk T&A and employee relations matters, and serving as the final escalation point for compliance-sensitive issues.
You will leverage deep expertise in Time & Attendance matters, wage/hour laws, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes across APAC jurisdictions. The role emphasizes service-level thinking (SLAs/KPIs), continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. You'll work in a fast-paced, remote, asynchronous environment with a distributed international team.
Required qualifications include hands-on people management experience with distributed teams, proven track record in HR Operations across multiple countries, deep knowledge of T&A compliance and wage/hour law in APAC, tech-savviness with digital tools and process automation, fluent English, and ability to manage sensitive employee data with discretion. Desired skills include startup/remote work experience and multilingual capabilities.
