Remote is a global employment platform that helps organizations recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly across 80+ countries. This role leads the Time & Attendance (T&A) operations team for the APAC region, reporting to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations. You will own planning, implementation, and service delivery for the Lifecycle Time & Attendance team, serving as a critical extension of clients' HR teams. The role combines hands-on people management with deep expertise in international HR operations and T&A compliance across APAC jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include: - Leading and coaching a distributed, international T&A team - Fostering a positive remote team culture and driving professional development - Managing performance evaluations and aligning team goals with business objectives - Serving as subject matter expert and final escalation point on high-risk T&A cases involving wage/hour compliance, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes - Resolving complex employee relations cases with jurisdictional expertise in APAC labor law - Maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in sensitive HR matters - Driving continuous improvement through process optimization and automation - Managing service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs with emphasis on customer satisfaction Required qualifications: - Hands-on people management experience with a coaching mindset, specifically leading distributed international teams - Proven track record in HR Operations across multiple countries - Deep knowledge of Time & Attendance matters, wage/hour laws, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes in various jurisdictions - Specialized expertise in complex T&A case resolution and labor law compliance in APAC countries - Experience in fast-paced, international, scale-up environments - Tech-savvy with experience optimizing processes through digital tools and automation - Fluent English (written and spoken) - Ability to safely manage confidential employee data with professionalism and discretion Desired: startup/remote working experience and multilingual capabilities.
