Remote is a global employment platform that helps organizations recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly across 80+ countries. The company is seeking a Manager of Lifecycle Contracts Management to lead the APAC regional team (covering India, Southeast Asia, and Japan).
In this role, you will manage and develop a regional contracts management team, serving as the subject matter expert on contract management and labor compliance across diverse APAC markets. You'll own recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of direct reports while building a high-performance team. Key responsibilities include identifying process improvements and automation opportunities, collaborating across Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Customer Success functions, and scaling the team's capabilities to support Remote's growth.
You'll report to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations Contracts Management and will be instrumental in maintaining Remote's gold standard in HR practices while integrating cutting-edge technology solutions. The role requires hands-on people management with a coaching mindset, deep expertise in local labor compliance and contract management across APAC markets, and experience scaling HR operations in fast-paced, international environments.
The ideal candidate brings a track record of HR operations experience across multiple APAC countries, startup/scale-up experience, tech-savviness, and a passion for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Remote working experience is a plus. You'll work asynchronously with a globally distributed team and help shape the future of global employment compliance.
