Flexport is a global logistics and commerce technology platform that moves over $19B in merchandise annually across 112 countries. The company is seeking an HR Manager to lead people operations at its rapidly expanding Lewisville, Texas Fulfillment Center. In this hands-on role, you will serve as the primary HR partner for the fulfillment center, working directly with site leadership on all people-related matters. Your responsibilities will include managing the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and performance management to offboarding—for a large, dynamic workforce. You will lead employee relations efforts, including conducting investigations, mediating conflicts, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies. You'll drive HR program implementation at the site level, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, and employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies, analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend solutions, and contribute to site-specific HR strategies. Flexport operates in a heavily regulated industry, so a compliance-first mindset is essential. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an onsite operational environment (fulfillment center, manufacturing, warehouse) - Proven expertise in employee relations, labor law compliance, and HR best practices for non-exempt workforces - Strong ability to partner with and influence site leadership to achieve business and people objectives - Experience managing HR functions independently for a specific site or business unit - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Compliance-first attitude and understanding of regulated industry requirements
