Coder is a Series B AI infrastructure company scaling from 220 to 500 employees by end of 2027. You'll be the first People team member on the ground in London, serving as the day-to-day HR contact for the GTM pod and the primary point of contact for UK-based and EOR employees. You'll own the full employee lifecycle for international hires: drafting offer letters, managing contract administration, handling onboarding workflows with country-specific compliance requirements, and administering benefits across the UK entity and EOR providers. You'll maintain accurate employee data in Rippling and Deel, ensure UK employment practices remain compliant with current law, and work closely with HRBPs on complex matters including policies, contracts, and statutory requirements. You'll answer employee questions on benefits, policies, leave, and pay, escalating strategic issues appropriately. As the international footprint grows, you'll identify and implement improvements to onboarding, administration, and offboarding processes. You'll work autonomously as the only People team member in London while collaborating closely with a US-based team across time zones. The role is expected to grow in scope as the London team and international operations expand.
