Salary: USD 99,000 - 117,000 / annual

Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries including food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate to deploy intelligent machines at scale. As an HR Generalist, you'll serve as the operational backbone for the Kitchens, Picnic, and general HR teams. This role bridges employee relations, manager enablement, and HR operations for a growing organization with significant hourly workforce populations. Key responsibilities include: Employee Relations & Manager Enablement: Act as the first point of contact for hourly employee escalations, resolving issues professionally and coaching managers on performance-related matters. Partner with the Director of HR on complex issues, grievance resolution, and Performance Recovery Plans (PRPs). Support performance evaluation processes and provide guidance on HR policies. HR Operations & Administration: Manage the daily HR ticketing queue while meeting SLAs. Process voluntary terminations and facility pay changes with accuracy. Collaborate with Payroll on hourly timekeeping audits and assist with wage equity analyses to ensure fair compensation across business units. Reporting & Strategy: Optimize HR reporting processes and use data to identify trends in turnover and performance. Support strategic workforce planning and talent development initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and organizational productivity. You'll work with 2–4 years of HR experience, strong administrative and reporting skills, and proficiency with HRIS, ticketing systems, and payroll software. The role requires ability to manage complex employee relations and professional conflict resolution. Atoms operates with a five-day onsite requirement in Los Angeles, believing that meaningful work happens together.
