ARX Robotics is seeking an HR Generalist to shape the employee experience across the full lifecycle at their Kyiv office. This is a hands-on role with direct impact in a fast-moving defense technology company building autonomous ground systems for European security and resilience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Design and execute seamless preboarding and onboarding experiences, including documentation, access setup, welcome sessions, and first-day preparation.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation, headcount records, personal data, and compensation information across the organization.
• Partner with Finance on reliable payroll administration, including monthly inputs for hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, leave, and absences.
• Ensure clear alignment between roles, grades, organizational structure, and compensation levels.
• Manage military registration records and reservation processes for military-liable employees, conscripts, and reservists in compliance with current Ukrainian legislation.
• Structure and facilitate Probation Reviews and Performance Reviews to enable constructive manager conversations.
• Coordinate learning and development processes, including training coordination and individual development plans.
• Execute respectful offboarding experiences with exit interviews and retention insights.
• Develop and maintain practical HR policies, procedures, and People processes.
• Organize internal events, learning sessions, and team activities to build connection and culture.
Required qualifications:
• 2–3 years of HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HR Operations, or similar experience.
• Solid understanding of Ukrainian labor law and core HR administration practices.
• Experience with military registration and reservation procedures under current Ukrainian legislation (Diia City familiarity is a plus).
• Proven ability to create and maintain internal HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, MS Office, HR platforms, and people data management.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for clear communication with international teams.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mentality, and discretion with sensitive information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain quality amid changing plans.
• Clear, trustworthy communication style with independence in planning and execution.
• Practical problem-solving approach and initiative in ambiguous situations.
