Dandy is a venture-backed AI-powered platform transforming the $400B+ dental industry by building an operating system for dental practices globally. The company is rapidly expanding internationally and seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to lead People operations across new global expansion sites. In this role, you will be a foundational member of the HR team, responsible for building HR infrastructure as Dandy establishes new international entities and locations. You will serve as the primary HR point of contact for Europe and new expansion geographies, working closely with General Managers and cross-functional leaders to ensure seamless employee experiences across all global sites. Key responsibilities include: **Strategic Leadership & Culture:** Support HR strategic planning for global expansion, serve as the HR point of contact for new international sites (primary POC for Europe), and address HR-related questions for expansion employees. **HR Operations, Policy & Compliance:** Prepare localized employment contracts, employee handbooks, and HR policies tailored to country-specific requirements. Create and own HR procedures for each new site, ensure legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and streamline administrative operations (employee records, databases) across geographies. **Partnerships & People Management:** Partner with local site leadership and cross-functional teams to build and improve People processes in new markets. Coordinate with internal recruiting and external vendors (insurance, EOR/PEO providers) to stand up HR operations. Assist payroll with employee information (leaves, parental leave) across geographies. You will need 5-10 years of HR experience as a Generalist, Manager, or Business Partner, with proven success leading HR functions during global/international expansion and standing up operations in new countries. You should have experience implementing HR policies across multiple jurisdictions, managing employee relations and investigations, and building trusted partnerships with leadership across cultures. Proficiency with GSuite and HR software is required, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with fast-growing companies, creating HR policies from scratch in new countries, working with EOR/PEO providers, and supporting employees across multiple time zones is a plus. The role requires flexibility to travel and spend time onsite at new expansion locations as needed.
