Showpad is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its People Team, serving as a strategic advisor to executives and business leaders while executing core people programs. This hybrid role is based in London, Chicago, or Boston with 2 days per week in-office presence.
You will operate at the intersection of HR strategy and operations, partnering closely with senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and people-related business risks. Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic HR Partnership:** Act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy. Translate business goals into people strategies and proactively identify people risks and opportunities before escalation. Build credible relationships across all organizational levels.
**Employee Relations & HR Expertise:** Independently manage complex employee relations issues including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution. Coach executives and managers on difficult conversations. Maintain in-depth knowledge of US and EMEA employment laws and regulations to mitigate legal risk. Stay current on HR trends and emerging practices.
**Program Execution & Operational Excellence:** Own and execute core People programs end-to-end—merit cycles, performance reviews, engagement surveys, exit processes—with precision and continuous improvement focus. Partner with People Ops on process improvements. Maintain data accuracy in Workday and use people analytics to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making. Prepare clear reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
**Change Agent:** Support and drive change initiatives by partnering with business leaders on adoption, communication, and sustained behavior change. Monitor effectiveness and surface barriers to success.
**Culture Champion:** Champion programs fostering inclusive, high-performance culture. Advocate for employees and bring forward sentiment insights to inform leadership decisions. Model and uphold company values.
Required: 5+ years progressive HR experience including 2+ years in an HRBP role. Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Strong business acumen connecting people strategies to organizational outcomes. Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters with empathy and legal grounding. Solid knowledge of US and EMEA employment laws. Experience executing People programs with high attention to detail. Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and data reporting tools (Excel, Culture Amp, or similar). Strong communication and influence skills across all organizational levels. Experience in high-growth, international software or technology companies is a strong plus.
