Deliveroo is seeking a HOP Site Team Leader to join their Dubai operations team. HOP is Deliveroo's rapid grocery delivery service, launched in 2021, with a mission to deliver groceries to customers in as little as 10 minutes. The company operates a network of delivery-only stores across London, the UK, and international markets including the UAE, staffed with specially trained teams who pick, pack, and dispatch orders at speed.
In this role, you will lead a shift team at a HOP delivery site, working closely with Site Management to achieve operational excellence and company objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising order picking to ensure efficiency and accuracy against time targets, overseeing packaging quality assurance, and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will enforce company standard operating procedures through robust supervision and coaching, communicate professionally with Deliveroo's rider network, and manage the dispatch process to minimize errors.
You'll maintain inventory accuracy through stock counts and rotation, ensure compliance with temperature regulations, and complete claims processes as needed. The role requires driving high standards in merchandising, space management, and site cleanliness. You will also conduct health and safety checks, supervise timekeeping and break compliance, and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders including neighbors, landlords, and contractors.
The ideal candidate brings experience in FMCG, retail, warehouse, or last-mile operations, though this is not essential. You should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments with a proven track record of hitting KPI targets like pick times. Strong leadership and team training experience is essential, as is the ability to run shifts independently. You must have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and hold the right to work in the UAE.
