Jetson is building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company, on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. The company combines technology, automation, and data to scale clean energy adoption. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build Jetson's health and safety program from the ground up at a fast-growing company. Rather than maintaining compliance, you'll architect a comprehensive safety culture and program that becomes core to the organization's identity. **Key Responsibilities:** Build & Manage Safety Programs: Design and maintain standard operating procedures for high-risk tasks including working at heights, lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical hazards, and confined space entry. Translate OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910 & 1926) into clear, practical guidance that field crews can actually use. Establish a full-cycle safety management system covering hazard identification, risk assessment, corrective actions, audits, and emergency response. Hazard Identification & Risk Management: Proactively walk job sites, conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs) and job safety analyses (JSAs), and identify risks before they cause injuries. Lead root cause analyses for incidents and near-misses, driving corrective actions to closure. Conduct internal audits to maintain OSHA readiness and continuously raise safety standards. Train, Coach & Shape Culture: Develop and deliver hands-on training for onboarding, task-specific certifications, and annual refreshers. Serve as an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications. Be a player-coach—active in the field while also driving strategic program evolution. Report & Analyze: Build and present safety KPI dashboards to leadership covering incident rates, near-miss trends, training completion, and audit scores. Manage documentation, coordinate return-to-work programs, and stay current on OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and industry best practices. This is a field-active role based in the Greater Denver Metro area, requiring regular presence on job sites and in the office. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field - Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification - Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer certification (Construction and/or General Industry) - 7+ years building and managing safety programs in field operations - Strong working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 - Hands-on experience with JHAs, JSAs, root cause analyses (RCAs), and corrective action tracking - Comfortable training groups of 10+ and presenting to senior leadership - Experience building safety metrics and dashboards for executive audiences - Background in residential construction, HVAC, or utilities is a plus
