Revolut is seeking a Head of Wealth & Trading to lead the build-out and scaling of its wealth and trading business in India. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing a fully licensed, compliant, and scalable wealth and trading entity serving the region.
Key responsibilities include defining local wealth and trading strategy aligned with global objectives; leading end-to-end entity build-out covering people, processes, systems, and governance; shaping the customer proposition including product coverage, pricing, and features; serving as the primary senior contact for local regulators throughout license applications and ongoing supervision; designing and embedding governance frameworks; ensuring full compliance with securities, conduct, and consumer protection regulations in partnership with Compliance and Legal teams; owning the first-line risk management framework covering market, operational, conduct, technology, and regulatory risks; providing leadership and coaching to the local team with succession planning; and delivering P&L targets including revenue, cost management, and capital efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings a degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or related field; deep expertise in wealth and trading within banks, brokers, fintechs, or other regulated financial institutions; a proven track record launching, leading, or significantly transforming a retail brokerage or wealth platform; strong understanding of retail trading and investment products (equities, ETFs, funds); knowledge of Indian securities and conduct regulatory frameworks; experience engaging with regulators on queries, inspections, and remediation; and experience partnering with product and engineering teams in digital environments. Familiarity with fixed income and other asset classes is a plus.
