Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 / annual

The Head of Technical Program Management (TPM) for the EW (Electronic Warfare) portfolio owns planning and execution of complex development efforts across the EW business line. This is a leadership role managing a team of TPMs embedded across Anduril's EW portfolio, including programs such as Pulsar, Polaris, Neutron, and emerging platforms. The role encompasses both Internal Research and Development (IRAD) initiatives and customer-facing programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building, scaling, and leading a team of Technical Program Managers across the EW portfolio
- Managing technical schedules for internal and external development projects with realistic timelines informed by engineering complexity
- Centralizing and standardizing tools, processes, and operating rhythms for TPM execution
- Establishing standards and mentoring TPMs on best practices
- Orchestrating risks, dependencies, governance, and delivery planning across concurrent initiatives
- Partnering with engineering leadership to translate technical roadmaps into executable program plans with clear dependencies, schedules, and deliverables
- Providing portfolio-level insights and observations to business line leadership through excellent executive communication
The successful candidate will build a high-performing technical leadership team and serve as a trusted peer to engineering leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years in technical program management or related technical leadership, with at least 5 years leading a multi-team organization
- Experience managing complex hardware/software development programs with interdependent engineering workstreams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to distill complex technical concepts, risks, and status into clear, actionable insights for both technical and executive audiences
- Experience building and scaling TPM organizations: hiring, structuring, and developing teams of program professionals
- Demonstrated ability to build and enforce programmatic standards across a portfolio (scheduling frameworks, risk management practices, artifact requirements)
- Proven ability to operate as a trusted peer to engineering leadership
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in EW, RF, radar, or electronic systems programs
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition pathways (traditional FAR/DFARS, middle tier, non-traditional OTA/DIU)
- Understanding of MOSA, DevSecOps, and agile hardware development approaches
- Experience with DoD/IC acquisition processes and earned value management
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
