Salary: USD 160,000 - 220,000 / annual

As Head of Talent & Team, you will own the complete people system at Verisoul, reporting directly to the CEO. Your responsibilities span recruiting, compensation, performance management, culture, and operations across a rapidly scaling organization.
Key responsibilities include: building an end-to-end recruiting function that attracts top Austin talent without relying on search firms; designing hiring processes with scorecards, interview loops, and interviewer training; conducting workforce and headcount planning with the CEO to ensure strategic hiring; establishing compensation bands, equity guidelines, leveling frameworks, and performance review systems; building and reinforcing company culture aligned with Verisoul's SOUL values; coaching hiring managers on interviewing, 1:1s, and feedback; managing people operations systems (benefits, tooling, policies); creating an excellent onboarding experience; and running internal programs like employee events and perks.
You'll work closely with the CEO, Board, hiring managers (including Directors of Customer Success and Solutions Architecture), and the broader team. The role requires both systems thinking (Rippling, headcount planning, policies) and hands-on presence with the team (events, culture, day-to-day interactions).
Compensation: $160,000–$220,000 base salary plus 0.10%–0.20% equity with 4-year vesting. In-office 5 days per week in Austin.
