Salary: USD 200,000 - 250,000 / annual
Altana is hiring a founding Head of Resilience & Network to build and scale a new business vertical within its Global Public Sector (GPS) division. This is a foundational business development role focused on growing Altana's presence in government supply chain resilience and network solutions.
You will own end-to-end revenue growth for the Resilience & Network vertical, including strategy, opportunity identification, positioning, relationship development, and team building. Key responsibilities include:
- Carry the revenue number and translate strategy into concrete plans targeting high-value government agencies
- Manage a field sales team, owning their pipeline and forecast for complex, large-scale government opportunities
- Build and maintain the Resilience & Network pipeline with rigorous forecasting and deal strategy
- Shape new opportunities by communicating Altana's value to senior government stakeholders and partnering with them on technology transformation
- Develop trusted relationships across agencies at operational and strategic levels
- Own partner relationships with systems integrators, primes, and teaming partners to extend reach and win programs
- Coordinate across GPS verticals and company-wide objectives to maximize impact
- Anticipate resource needs for pursuits and coordinate across teams
- Feed market signal (budget cycles, policy shifts, competitive intelligence, agency needs) into Product, pricing, and company strategy
You will partner closely with the VP of Global Public Sector, Government Affairs, Capture, Product, Delivery, Implementation, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership. This role requires operating effectively through influence, shaping complex opportunities early, and navigating long government procurement cycles.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant experience in public-sector sales and revenue growth leadership with a track record of growing pipeline and team
- Deep knowledge of how the public sector buys, including experience shaping opportunities and making deal strategy calls across different contracting mechanisms
- Established network across government and industry with credibility to operate at senior levels
- Builder's instinct with experience leading complex efforts and operating effectively through influence
- Ability to carry complex, high-intellectual-content software into government; fluency in trade, supply chains, geopolitics, and national security use cases is a strong plus
- Excellent judgment and communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders independently and translate complex value into clear cases
- Patience and optimism to prevail in long government procurement cycles
- Eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. Security Clearance
