As Head of Recruiting Operations, you will report directly to the VP of Sales Strategy & Operations and lead the teams responsible for scaling Verkada's recruiting function. You'll manage Recruiting Operations, Recruiting Coordinators, Recruiting Enablement, Recruiting Systems & Tools, and the Embedded Recruiting Strategy function.
Verkada operates a decentralized recruiting model where recruiting teams are embedded within business functions. You'll establish the operating model, governance, and shared ways of working that enable these teams to function as a cohesive, high-performing organization while partnering with Recruiting Leadership, Finance, People, and business leaders.
Key responsibilities include: defining and executing the Recruiting Strategy & Operations roadmap; owning the end-to-end recruiting operating model across all recruiting functions; building and improving recruiting programs, interview processes, and workflows; establishing operational rigor through standardized processes and documentation; owning executive recruiting dashboards and KPIs; partnering with Finance on hiring plans, capacity planning, and forecasting; leading executive recruiting reviews; evaluating and optimizing recruiting technologies; evolving the Quality of Hire framework; and developing a high-performing team.
You'll drive hiring excellence through data-driven insights on recruiter productivity, funnel health, quality of hire, and recruiting effectiveness. This is a highly visible leadership role at the intersection of recruiting operations, analytics, systems, and business strategy. The role is based in San Mateo headquarters and requires onsite work.
