Salary: USD 400,000 - 500,000 / annual

As Head of Recruiting, you will own Goodfire's hiring strategy and execution across all functions, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a VP-level role responsible for building a world-class recruiting organization that can identify and close exceptional talent in AI research and engineering. Key responsibilities include: - Owning Goodfire's hiring strategy and execution across all functions - Building a sourcing engine that maps and reaches the strongest researchers and engineers globally before they enter the market - Owning the interview process end-to-end and defining the hiring bar in partnership with founders and technical leaders - Managing recruiting data, forecasting pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-close, and headcount planning - Owning candidate experience and how Goodfire presents itself to the market from first outreach through offer signature - Hiring and leading a recruiting team that matches the company's pace while staying deeply hands-on in the funnel You should be a systems thinker who can turn recruiting into a repeatable machine. The ideal candidate thrives in high-intensity environments, moves with urgency, and has deep expertise in sourcing and closing top-tier technical talent. This role requires someone who can build relationships with the world's leading interpretability researchers and understands how to recruit in competitive, specialized talent markets.
