OpenArt is a generative AI creative platform used by millions worldwide, building next-generation creative tools that enable users to create videos, images, visuals, characters, and stories with AI. The company is at the frontier of AI-native creativity tools.
You will serve as Product Marketing Manager, sitting at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Growth, and customers. Your core responsibility is to define how OpenArt's products are positioned, launched, and adopted in the market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own positioning and messaging: Define how OpenArt's products and capabilities are positioned across key customer segments.
- Lead product launches: Own go-to-market strategy and execution for major product, feature, and model launches.
- Understand the market: Develop deep knowledge of users, competitors, AI models, emerging capabilities, and market trends.
- Conduct customer research: Translate insights into product, positioning, and go-to-market recommendations.
- Drive adoption: Partner with Growth and Product teams to improve activation, engagement, and retention.
- Create narratives: Develop compelling stories, demos, landing-page messaging, and launch materials.
- Enable marketing channels: Partner with Content, Social, Creator, Growth, and Brand teams to execute product stories consistently.
- Measure and iterate: Track launch performance and continuously improve the product marketing playbook.
- Shape strategy: Bring market and customer insights to Product and leadership to inform product development.
This is not a traditional product marketing role. The ideal candidate is already deeply immersed in the generative AI space, actively uses AI products, and understands the models, products, competitors, and behaviors shaping the market.
Work setup: Based in San Carlos, CA office. Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or closely related roles
- Recent experience working at a generative AI startup or AI-native company
- Deep understanding of the generative AI ecosystem, products, models, and competitive landscape
- Experience owning positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and product launches
- Strong product instincts and ability to understand sophisticated technical capabilities quickly
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills; ability to make complex technology simple and compelling
- Strong understanding of customer research, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and market analysis
- Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Growth, and Creative teams
- Highly hands-on and comfortable moving quickly in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
- AI-native approach to research, creation, analysis, and work
Nice to have:
- Experience marketing AI image, video, creative, or agentic products
- Experience with consumer subscription or product-led growth businesses
- Experience marketing products to creators, marketers, SMBs, or creative professionals
- Strong personal interest in AI-generated content and creative tools
