Fireworks is a Series D AI infrastructure platform ($17.5B valuation) backed by NVIDIA, Sequoia, Benchmark, and others. Founded by the PyTorch team, Fireworks enables companies to build, train, and serve specialized AI models tailored to their data and workflows.
As Head of Product Marketing, you own how Fireworks positions itself in the market and drives GTM clarity. You report to the SVP Marketing and lead a small PMM team that you will grow.
Key responsibilities:
**Positioning & Category Strategy**: Own Fireworks' corporate positioning, category narrative, and messaging architecture. Define ICPs and translate positioning into segment-specific narratives for AI-Native, Digital-Native, and Enterprise buyers. Success is measured by consistent messaging across sales, prospects, analysts, and press.
**Product Launch Leadership**: Own end-to-end go-to-market for major product launches in partnership with Product and Engineering. Manage launch tiering, narrative, sales enablement, press/analyst strategy, and customer evidence. Measured by launch quality, time to first referenceable customer, and media pickup.
**Competitive Intelligence & Sales Enablement**: Build and maintain competitive battlecards, conduct win/loss analysis, support top deals, and create segment-specific sales enablement curriculum. Measured by win rates against priority competitors and new rep time-to-productivity.
**Customer & Market Insights**: Run structured listening across customers, prospects, and analysts. Conduct win/loss interviews, voice-of-customer programs, and analyst relations. Feed insights into messaging and product strategy.
Success metrics include quarter-over-quarter win rate improvements, sales leadership naming PMM as a top-three pipeline driver, every major launch landing with analyst coverage and customer references, and Fireworks' category narrative appearing in analyst reports and press using your language.
This role is NOT primarily writing, content marketing, demand generation, developer relations, brand identity, or marketing ops—those are owned by separate leaders.
