Pillar is a financial operating system for construction, founded in 2025, now 90+ people serving 1000+ customers with €15.2M in funding. The company is bringing AI, automation, and modern software to a traditionally fragmented industry.
As Head of Product, you will lead the product organization through a critical growth phase. You'll manage and develop a team of product managers reporting directly to you, defining KPIs for each product module and ensuring they ladder up to company goals. You'll own the product dashboards that the entire company relies on—adoption, usage, performance, and CSAT—and maintain close visibility into product team progress to spot gaps early.
Your core responsibilities include owning what the product organization ships (scope, quality, predictability), delivering the roadmap on time while raising risks and trade-offs proactively, and running the rituals that keep design, engineering, and product aligned. You'll work closely with the CTO to keep product, design, and engineering on one vision. You'll be data-driven in practice: defining metrics, building dashboards, and writing SQL yourself.
The ideal candidate started as an engineer and can discuss architecture, estimates, and trade-offs as a peer with engineering. You have B2B SaaS experience with complex workflows and multiple user personas, and you've lived a 1-to-10 scaling phase—growing a product, roadmap, and team after product-market fit. You've managed product managers directly and enjoy seeing people grow. You have a track record of predictable delivery across multiple teams and have built rituals that people found useful. You're AI-native: AI is already part of how you work and how you build. You give clear, kind feedback and bring calm and clarity when things get messy. Fluent English required; based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.
Nice-to-have experience includes PostHog and Linear, AI/LLM-powered features, ERP, fintech or vertical SaaS, construction, or Italian/Spanish language skills.
Pillar operates with small squads and high autonomy, no unnecessary layers. The company is AI-first in both product and operations, direct and honest in communication, preferring context over micromanagement. This is not a role for someone seeking a mature, established product process—you'll be building it.

- Direct management experience with product managers
- Data-driven approach: define metrics, build dashboards, write SQL
- Track record of predictable delivery across multiple teams
- Experience building and running useful product rituals
- AI-native: AI already integrated into work and product building
- Fluent English
- Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate
