Two is a B2B payments platform transforming how businesses pay and get paid, combining real-time credit decisioning, seamless checkout, and advanced risk assessment. Backed by Sequoia Capital and other top-tier investors with €50M+ raised, the company is scaling rapidly across European markets with 30% month-on-month growth. You will lead the People function as a standalone role reporting to the CFO, partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team. This is a strategic and operational role owning the complete employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: Strategic People Partnering: Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and business growth. Coach managers on performance, leadership, and employee relations. Drive engagement, culture, and leadership capability using people data and insights. Talent Acquisition: Lead hiring across all functions from workforce planning through onboarding. Improve hiring quality, interview processes, and candidate experience. Develop employer branding to attract exceptional talent. Performance & Reward: Lead performance calibration and salary review cycles. Maintain career frameworks and support employee development. Ensure fair, data-driven compensation decisions. Support succession planning and manage employee equity schemes. People Operations: Own the employee lifecycle across multiple countries. Maintain HR policies, compliance, and employment documentation. Coordinate payroll, benefits, and HR administration. Manage UK sponsorship licenses and immigration processes. Oversee HR systems and external vendors (HRIS, ATS, EOR). AI & Continuous Improvement: Leverage AI to automate processes and improve employee experience. Lead systems and process improvements to support business growth. Within 6-12 months, you will become a trusted advisor to leadership, improve hiring quality and consistency, deliver data-driven performance cycles, build manager confidence, maintain compliant operations across countries, and introduce practical AI solutions. You bring experience leading an HR function or are ready to step into a standalone People leadership role. You've partnered directly with managers on hiring, performance, and organizational development. You understand Nordic or UK employment law and can quickly build knowledge of other jurisdictions. You're comfortable working independently, use data to inform decisions, enjoy improving processes, and have experience with AI tools, HRIS/ATS platforms, and internationally distributed teams. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environments with proactive, pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
