Midnite is a next-generation sports betting and gaming platform with over 400,000 players. The company operates as a high-performance team focused on sharp product thinking, bold branding, and fast execution.
As Head of People Performance, you will lead the evolution of Midnite's People function from strong foundations to a next-generation capability. Your mission is to build creative, commercially grounded, data-led programmes specifically designed for how Midnite operates—not off-the-shelf HR playbooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve RAD, Midnite's performance approach, including framework design, manager enablement, calibration, and continuous improvement
- Build progression and levelling frameworks that provide clarity, maintain high standards, and scale without unnecessary bureaucracy
- Create a proactive L&D strategy that strengthens managers, develops critical capabilities, and reinforces Midnite's cultural values
- Transform performance data into meaningful talent reviews and succession plans, ensuring top performers are recognized, challenged, and retained
- Use performance, engagement, and retention insights to identify opportunities, test ideas, and measure impact
- Partner directly with founders, VPs, and functional leaders to build trust, navigate resistance, and adapt approaches without compromising outcomes
- Own programmes end-to-end: diagnose, design, launch, embed, measure, and iterate
You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, turning ambitious ideas into simple, credible programmes that managers use, employees trust, and the business can measure.
Requirements:
- Proven track record building and running high-impact People programmes in a fast-moving tech scale-up
- Deep understanding of what high performance looks like in scaling environments
- Both strategic and hands-on capability—you execute beyond frameworks and decks
- Creative thinking that challenges conventional HR approaches while remaining pragmatic and commercially focused
- Data-driven decision-making with ability to tell compelling stories and demonstrate measurable results
- Credibility and adaptability to influence founders and senior leaders, including those resistant to change
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, move at pace, and take real ownership for outcomes
